Cliffhanger

The dried out Hato plains needs a drink. And if the water doesn't come to it, it comes to the water. Organic life holds on to the clouds, squeezes it to get a drink.

Low tide

A seedpod of the rubbervine found near the Hato plains, resembled a ship to me. A ship in the desert with no water to sail upon.

Memories of the future I

All sorts of driftwood make the outline of the brain. The cloud represents the spirit that remembers things to come; the bent earth and the driftwood are one.

Turning point

A spiraling cloud above the Hato plains. Two stylized Dividivi trees squeeze the cloud to drink from her moisture.

Inspired by the refinery on Curaçao. The toxic smoke this refinery puts out over the people that live downwind of it, is criminal. In this drawing nature grew over The Isla.

Beauty of the beast

Although the refinery puts out more than the legal amount of toxic smoke, when the light is right, it is a pretty sight.
